Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to drive project success in a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Establish and maintain performance metrics, guaranteeing client requirements are met.
  • Execute projects through our Quality and Project Management system, ensuring compliance with company procedures and project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate project information within a structured filing system, providing easily retrievable data and historical records of key decisions.
  • Liaise with clients on KPI development and implementation.
  • Track and report at regular client update meetings.
  • Plan all resources, including labor, materials, and sub-contractors.
  • Lead large teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Site Safety Officers to ensure high safety standards are maintained on site.

Requirements:

  • You will be degree qualified in Engineering, with further study being advantageous.
  • 5+ years' experience in project management, preferably with a Main Contractor.
  • Experience with project planning software ASTA or MS Project.
  • Able to take responsibility for large projects, emphasizing strong delivery, timescales, cost, and budget.
  • Experience leading diverse teams and taking direction.
  • An excellent communicator with previous experience working on high-quality medium-large scale public and private contracts in various sectors.
  • Delivering large projects would be advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, along with superior oral and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills required.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to a changing work environment are essential.
  • Structural steel construction experience is an advantage.
  • Able to effectively communicate technical topics to key stakeholders, management, and team members to influence decisions.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
