">We are recruiting a bright graduate or postgraduate who is eager to excel in their profession, specializing in company secretarial and corporate governance. As part of our dynamic Company Secretarial team, you will have the opportunity to work with senior management in Irish and global businesses, tackling interesting and varied tasks with clients increasingly relying on our service to navigate current and proposed future legislation.
Our program includes structured on-the-job training, culminating in a Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Corporate Governance. Upon completion, you will be qualified as an Associate of The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and filing Annual Returns, ensuring clients meet statutory filing obligations
- Preparation and filing of ad hoc statutory forms at the Companies Registration Office (e.g., change of officer, change of address)
- Incorporating companies and preparing de-shelving documents, including company officer details and changes to share capital
- Preparing board minutes, AGM packs, and EGM packs
- Updating and maintaining the company secretarial database
- Maintaining company Minute Books and Statutory Registers
- Dealing with queries and requests from clients, auditors, solicitors, and internal staff
- Responsibility for billing clients and debtors' collection
- Filing, archiving, and general administrative duties
Requirements:
- Completion or desire to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Corporate Governance to obtain The Chartered Governance Institute Qualification
- Third-level degree required, with Law or Business degrees being beneficial
- Experience in a professional services environment is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
