This is an exciting opportunity to work in a laboratory-based role focused on characterizing and improving processes for large molecules in commercial manufacturing and later development stages.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in cell culture sciences and experience in developing and optimizing robust cell culture processes at scales from 5 to 750 L. They will also be responsible for operating mammalian cell cultures up to 750 L according to predefined procedures, and collaborating with analytical scientists on protein characterization during development studies.

Key responsibilities include ensuring safety and regulatory compliance through internal training, providing technical guidance on laboratory investigations and process design, and supporting Drug Substance Technical Services during investigations and process introductions or changes in manufacturing.

This is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong background in biotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, or related fields, with a minimum of 4 years relevant industry experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in large molecule bioprocessing and separation sciences, as well as designing and executing laboratory experimental programs.
