Senior Care Manager

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social care or an allied healthcare discipline, with a minimum of three years' experience in a leadership role. This will enable them to manage the service effectively, ensuring compliance with industry standards and implementing organisational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage staff, providing guidance and mentorship through regular supervision, appraisals, and team meetings.
  • Coordinate appointments and prioritise tasks in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ensure a high quality of life for residents through regular care plan reviews, health promotion, and personal risk assessments.

The successful applicant will have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, allowing them to work effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or a relevant allied healthcare discipline.
  • Minimum three years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the Health or Social Care sector.
  • Appropriate qualification in Health or Social Care management (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications).
