As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring site safety in manufacturing and production, adhering to current legal requirements and best practices. This role aims to minimize risks and maintain correct working practices through a culture of positive safety behaviors and continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices across all business areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop the EHS strategy for the site and identify key projects to deliver primary metrics.
- Manage incident investigations on site and report to regulatory and corporate bodies as required.
- Provide EHS support to subsidiary sites in Ireland by offering assistance on matters related to health, safety, and the environment.
- Ensure that products and deliveries are built in the safest and most efficient manner, meeting world-class standards.
- Monitor key changes in legislation and report to management to ensure site compliance with relevant regulations.
- Oversee the site's ISO 45001 and 14001 standards and coordinate key activities and audits.
- Verify that standard work requirements are compliant for relevant modules.
- Manage the site's Behavioral-Based Safety program, ensuring timely completion of observations and corrective actions.
- Reduce the site's carbon footprint by implementing initiatives to decrease energy consumption, waste, water usage, and refrigerant loss, and identifying projects to assist in achieving TT goals of reducing greenhouse gases.
