Job Opportunity:

The Junior Sous Chef role presents a unique chance for ambitious chefs to take on a leadership position in our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented.
  • Collaborate with the team to create innovative menu options that showcase seasonal ingredients.
  • Maintain impeccable standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Oversee stock management, ordering, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and confidence.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent in a quality-driven kitchen environment.
  • Strong cooking skills and a passion for modern Irish cuisine.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Residency in Ireland and eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
