Electrical Project Manager

This role offers the opportunity to take on a challenging project management position within an established organization.

As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing commercial projects in the electrical sector, ensuring effective communication and implementation to deliver projects on time.

You will be developing and implementing project strategy and delivery programmes, monitoring progress, and instigating corrective actions as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall site management, coordination, planning, and specification of business proposals
  • Ownership of the delivery of Electrical projects to time, quality, and budget constraints
  • Prepare reports, specifications, and technical analysis to fully define the design requirements, equipment, and services required
  • Coordinating electrical design
  • Reviewing project scope and ensuring the schedule and budgets are effectively managed
  • Driving improvement through constant review and analysis
  • Ensuring all stakeholders are kept up to date with progress
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Ensure that contracts are fit for purpose, cost-effective, and incorporate appropriate Service Level Agreements

Core Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Contracts Manager in the Electrical sector
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team
  • Project Management experience from design phase through implementation and operation
  • Experience negotiating construction, procurement, and labour contracts
  • Controlling costs, timing, and quality in line with targets
  • Able to read and accurately interpret contract documents, programmes, drawings, and technical specifications

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to work under pressure, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
