Job Overview

The Station Finance and Administration Team Member is a key role within our organization, providing critical support to the day-to-day operation of a power station. As the first point of contact for financial and administrative demands, they play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day support with accounting, administration, and third-party contracts
  • Managing and supporting the prompt payment of invoices and dealing with queries
  • Preparation and posting of month-end journals and reconciliation of local control accounts
  • Liaising with Finance Operations where required
  • Carrying out key administration duties, including managing third-party facilities contracts and general office administrative tasks
  • Supporting health and wellbeing initiatives in the station
  • Supporting inventory purchasing, timesheet recording and reporting, training course coordination, and finance and procurement process support

To be successful in this role, candidates should have 2-3 years' experience in a similar position, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a good understanding of basic accounting and invoice processing processes.

Requirements

  • Qualification in finance or similar work experience
  • Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Prior experience of working with SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) & Financial Management Information System (FMIS)
