Steel Fabrication Detailer

As a structural detailer, you will be responsible for producing proposals and manufacturing drawings for light gauge steel frames, panels, pods, and structural and non-structural elements. You will work in a professional, innovative, and creative design environment alongside experienced engineers and architects.
Key Responsibilities- Developing designs using AutoCAD and other design packages such as Revit and Vertex.
- Creating 2D and 3D models, concept drawings, and fabrication drawings and details for CAD CAM production equipment.
- Ensuring all design work meets industry standards and is buildable.
- Managing technical submissions for various system uses on each project.
- A degree in Architecture, Building surveying, Construction, or Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and the BCAR process.
- High-level design and communication skills.
- Understanding and desire to learn accessibility and universal design principles.
- Practical experience with design packages, particularly AutoCAD.
You will have opportunities to continuously develop your skills and knowledge within our solution-based design team. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of building science and design principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
