Nurse for Home Care

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable registered general/disability nurse to provide high-quality care in the home environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working one on one with clients, as well as being able to work on their own initiative. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who can make a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:">
  • Provide medication management and administer medications as required
  • Manage seizures, including administration of buccal midazolam if necessary
  • Administer nebulizers and manage pain
  • Care for children with complex needs or disabilities
  • Manage airways and perform suctioning
  • Provide stoma care and manage skin integrity
  • Assist with moving and handling, including hoisting and repositioning
  • Work independently in the home environment
  • Implement infection control measures and dispose of clinical waste
  • Perform CPR as needed


Requirements:

  • Holds a valid PIN issued by NMBI
  • Has previous experience working with children
  • Is willing to undergo any training required
  • Has completed Garda Vetting
  • Is willing to register with the INMO or affiliated union
  • Has full immunizations and vaccination history
