Human Resources Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to support our local, regional, and global HR activities. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business objectives, provide employee services, and maintain compliance with local and global HR regulations.

About the Job

The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for providing HR business partner support across all assigned business clients within designated locations. This includes supporting the implementation of global human resource initiatives under the direction of the HR leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR business partner support to assigned business clients
  • Support the implementation of global human resource initiatives
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees in addressing HR-related inquiries, concerns, and issues
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a positive work environment
  • Provide HR clarification around benefits, payroll, HR policies, and practices to employees
  • Enter employee information into the HRIS system for processing
  • Support HR in performance management cycles within the West Talent Gateway system
  • Provide the appropriate HR support in the acquisition, development, and retention of talent
  • Serve as an HR liaison between the local and global HR functions
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant business or human resources discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR or equivalent in education
  • Experience with HR business systems (i.e., Ultimate, SuccessFactors, SAP HCM) and MS Office applications
