We are seeking highly skilled professionals to accelerate our transition to a more sustainable business.
As an Environmental Sustainability Manager, you will report to a Senior Environmental Sustainability Manager and coordinate regional activities to implement our sustainability strategy.
- You will possess advanced knowledge of ISO14001 compliance and assurance, as well as key environmental aspects.
- Lead management reviews, and ensure associated procedures and plans are continually improved.
- Translate complex technical information into clear direction for operational teams.
You will have a good working knowledge of key strategy aspects applicable to your role, such as decarbonisation, circular economy, climate adaptation, and biodiversity.
A minimum Level 8 Degree in Environmental or similar related discipline is required, along with a proven track record of supporting environmental and sustainability performance on projects.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to travel nationwide are also essential.
You will be the go-to resource for specialist environmental sustainability advice when needed, and may have a matrix relationship within the operational business.
Industry standards, company procedures, and legal requirements must be adhered to.
Key performance indicators and sector-specific reporting standards must be understood.
You will promote awareness and support delivery of decarbonization, circular economy, climate adaptation, and biodiversity.
Candidates who can demonstrate a strong understanding of data governance and analytics, as well as the ability to deliver meaningful KPIs, will be highly regarded.
The ideal candidate will have a good depth and breadth of relevant experience and be willing to travel nationwide.
A full membership and/or chartership with a relevant professional institution is desirable.
