Job Opportunity: A dynamic and experienced Social Care Manager is required to lead our Disability Residential Service in Co. Cork.

  • Job Description:
  • We are seeking a skilled leader to manage our residential care service for individuals with disabilities, ensuring their well-being, safety, and rights are upheld.
  • The Person in Charge (PIC) will demonstrate expertise in governance, operational management, resident and staff support, financial stewardship, and partnership working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of life for residents.
  • Manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality care services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with external partners to promote best practices and drive innovation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Level 7 on the QQI Framework or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Social Care Management or Management desirable.
  • At least 3 years of senior supervisory/management experience.
  • 5 years' experience in the health/social care or voluntary sector.
  • Excellent understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level.
  • Proven ability to work with vulnerable adults or children.
