We are seeking a passionate and experienced Environmental Impact Assessment consultant at senior/principal level to support our water sector EIA advice and delivery across the UK.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues across the UK and Ireland, providing technical oversight and governance for water sector EIA development projects. This role involves working alongside existing practitioners, supporting further growth and capability strengthening, and contributing to a wide range of non-EIA projects with significant environmental components.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic environmental advice and EIA delivery (including screening, consultation, scoping, and ES delivery)
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Developing and implementing effective solutions to complex environmental challenges
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have an environmental or related degree and be chartered (e.g., through CIWEM, CIEEM, IEMA). A good understanding of the environmental consulting market across the UK is essential, along with a combination of entrepreneurial and commercial flair that can help us grow our teams within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Desirable qualifications include experience in undertaking EIA as part of the DCO process and Strategic Environmental Assessment.
