**Job Title:** Audio Visual Designer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Audio Visual Designer to join our team. As an AV Designer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and specifying audio visual equipment required for our learning and meeting spaces.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. You will be responsible for leading the provision of our AV systems, from design through implementation phase and handover to operational support.

This role involves evaluating requirements, estimating costs, and producing final designs within budget. You will also ensure that AV solutions are installed by third parties in accordance with agreed designs.

As an AV Designer, you will work across various areas including existing centrally managed teaching spaces and spaces in new buildings and refurbishment projects working with our Estates and Facilities team.

In addition, you will provide a consultancy service to users throughout the university who are planning to procure Audio Visual systems in their own locally managed spaces.
