Job Opportunity: Electrical Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled electrical design specialist to join our team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across various sectors including workplace, healthcare, education, historic, leisure, and residential.

  • Deliver innovative electrical building services design solutions from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
  • Support senior designers in feasibility studies, option appraisals, scheme and detail design.
  • Contribute to sustainable design strategies, renewable energy integration, and smart building solutions.
  • Use front-end design tools and design within a Revit environment.
  • Attend site inspections during construction to monitor progress and ensure design compliance.

Maintain effective communication with clients and project stakeholders.

  • Degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Chartered or Associate Engineering status (or working towards) is essential.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in electrical design, ideally within a consultancy environment, is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services systems is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux/Amtech, and general IT applications is required.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects across a range of sectors and scales is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, client-facing, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Results-driven with high professional integrity and a collaborative mindset is expected.
