Industrial Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled industrial maintenance specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, calibrating, and servicing injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out installation, maintenance, and servicing of machinery and associated equipment.
  • Specializing in electrical maintenance and system diagnostics for injection moulding machines.
  • Performing machine fit-outs, including necessary electrical and mechanical modifications.
  • Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving electrical and electromechanical faults on-site in collaboration with customers and machine manufacturers.
  • Conducting machine calibrations per customer maintenance schedules.
  • Carrying out equipment health checks and generating detailed condition reports.
  • Coordinating with the scheduling team to efficiently manage workload and ensure necessary resources are available.
  • Engaging with customers both remotely and on-site to understand their specific needs and provide technical guidance.
  • Assisting in specifying and procuring electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical components.
  • Preparing and approving necessary documentation and reports upon job completion.
  • Maintaining strict adherence to all relevant electrical and industrial safety standards, as well as customer safety requirements.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum Level 6 qualification in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, specializing in the maintenance and troubleshooting of plastics machinery.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including expertise in root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Sound understanding of industrial safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with personnel at all levels of the business and with customers.
