Electrical Maintenance Expert

An innovative food manufacturer in Longford seeks an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of production lines.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and skilled in electrical systems, PLCs (Siemens S7), pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and maintain production line performance, responding swiftly to any mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with production teams to meet operational targets and reduce downtime.
- Carry out preventative maintenance (PM) and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Support engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Champion health and safety practices across the engineering function.
- Electrical trade qualification required; third-level engineering qualification is a plus.
- Experience in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair high-speed production equipment.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and engineering documentation.
