Lead Kitchen Team Member
Job Summary:
A busy hotel in Dublin seeks an experienced kitchen professional to manage daily operations and lead a team of kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen activities.
- Supervise and train a team of up to 12 kitchen staff.
- Prepare food for various outlets and events, ensuring high-quality presentation and production.
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal updates.
- Oversee inventory control and weekly stocktakes.
- Maintain a safe, hygienic kitchen environment and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar role or as a Senior Sous Chef in a hotel or food service environment.
- Proven ability to train and develop staff.
- Excellent people management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
