Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Technician to join our dynamic Civil Engineering design team.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in the preparation of civil infrastructure drawings and details for site development, roads infrastructure, transportation infrastructure, public health infrastructure, etc.

  • The candidate will be proficient in the preparation of civil infrastructure drawings / details using AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • As part of the Civil Engineering team, you will be required to deliver project drawings to the required technical standards in a timely manner.
  • You will also be responsible for overseeing and checking standards on project drawings by Junior Civil Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing civil infrastructure drawings and details using AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Delivering project drawings to the required technical standards in a timely manner.
  • Overseeing and checking standards on project drawings by Junior Civil Technicians.
  • Carrying out site inspections and attending Design Team meetings.

Requirements:

  • A Higher Certificate (NFQ Level 6) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience of AutoCAD 2D & Autodesk Civil 3D is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
