Project Manager - Commercial Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with expertise in commercial and contractual management to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the commercial and contractual aspects of large-scale projects are effectively managed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial and contractual management of projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, employers, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough cost and risk analyses to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage and review all incoming correspondence to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with the client's commercial team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide accurate and timely project costing, margin, and cash flow reports.
  • Manage changes to projects, negotiate costs with clients, and agree final accounts.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, engineering, or business).
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or contracting environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of current contract law and its application in commercial settings.
