Senior Psychologist - Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Portlaoise, Co. Laois.

Job Purpose:
  • To deliver advanced psychological assessments, formulations, and therapeutic interventions to children and adolescents referred to CAMHS.
  • To work closely with families and carers, contributing to service development, and providing supervision and consultation within the MDT.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team, promoting compassion and inclusivity in clinical practice.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based therapeutic services, ensuring high professional standards.
  • Liaise effectively with other professionals, working collaboratively to achieve service goals.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.
  • Eligibility for professional registration with the relevant body.
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years at Senior or equivalent level.
  • A strong background working with children and young people with co-morbid mental health presentations.
