Job Description

The Hospital Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with hospital stakeholders, cardiovascular consultants, and clinical teams to drive growth and engagement.

The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

They will deliver against national sales targets and performance metrics, analysing sales data to create actionable weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans.

Maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, prioritising key opportunities, the Hospital Account Manager will collaborate with internal teams to execute targeted marketing campaigns and educational initiatives tailored to the Irish market.

Leading commercial negotiations, including pricing and contract agreements, they will provide market insights to support strategic planning and national tender submissions.

Working cross-functionally with sales, finance, clinical geneticists, and lab operations, the Hospital Account Manager will ensure seamless customer delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline, along with proven experience in cardiology.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, with a strong track record of business development, is essential.

Knowledge or experience in genomics is an advantage, as is the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across teams.

Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills are also required, as well as the willingness to travel across Ireland.
