Warehouse Stock Operative Job Description

This is a full-time permanent position at our customers distribution centre. As a Warehouse Stock Assistant, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target-driven environment.

The job involves auditing the accuracy of supplier deliveries, checking picker accuracy of stock destined for stores, and adhering to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Audit the Inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the Goods Receipt program.
  • Audit Picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and fully investigate all errors found.
  • Maintain integrity at all times.
  • Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
  • Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

You will have basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, strong communication skills, and the ability to actively respond to both verbal instructions and audible warning devices.

What You Will Achieve

You will be responsible for ensuring that all supplier deliveries are accurate and meet customer requirements. This includes verifying the quantity and quality of goods received and identifying any discrepancies or issues.

In addition, you will be working closely with the warehouse team to ensure that all stock is accurately recorded and reported, and that any errors or issues are quickly identified and resolved.
