We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to fill an exciting opportunity at our facility in Cork.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide technical direction for the Lab Ops Microbiology team on day-to-day issues, ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures and practices. They will troubleshoot technical issues and lead investigations through scientific problem-solving approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance to the Lab Ops Microbiology team on complex technical issues.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and lead investigations to identify root causes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with site EHS policy, cGMP and other business regulations.
  • Participate in risk assessments, audits, regulatory inspections and incident investigations to ensure the highest Quality, Compliance and Safety standards.
