Paediatric Psychology Assessment Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Clinical/Educational/Counselling Psychologists to conduct assessments in our Cork City Assessment Centre.

  • Provide a quality assessment service to children and families allocated to you.
  • Be responsible for the provision of a high-quality service in accordance with professional standards.
  • Conduct assessments and work with other clinicians to determine outcomes and results.

The successful Psychologist will play a key role in delivering impactful support. As a contractor, you will enjoy a flexible schedule while collaborating with a dynamic team of experienced clinicians.

Responsibilities
  • Attend MDT meetings to discuss findings, recommendations, and complete summary reports.
  • Lead the assessment process through MDT and clinical governance feedback.

You will be responsible for conducting assessments and working with other clinicians to determine outcomes and results.

Requirements
  • A university degree or diploma with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject.
  • An Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.
  • A minimum of 5 years satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.
  • Strong proficiency in writing clear, concise, and well-structured reports.
