We are seeking a caring and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in New Ross and surrounding areas.

Job Description

This is a rewarding role that involves providing personal care, light household tasks, and companionship to individuals in their homes. You will be working independently, but as part of a well-organised and supportive team.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and safe mobility
  • Assisting with light household tasks and meal preparation
  • Offering emotional support and companionship to clients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A full driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Completed QQI Care Skills and Care of the Elderly modules (or ready to complete them)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
