This is a key position within our water services organization, focusing on delivering exceptional results in an industrial setting.

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Electrician to lead and manage a team of skilled electricians. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with a strong background in electrical systems and instrumentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance electricians, apprentices, and contractor electricians.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, ensuring plant safety and reliability.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance routines using the PEMAC maintenance management system.
  • Train electricians on electrical systems and instrumentation, enhancing their fault-finding abilities.

About You:

  • You will have a proven track record in managing and motivating team members.
  • You will be a qualified Electrician with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Electrical or equivalent.
  • You will possess high-level diagnostic and problem-solving skills in an industrial setting.
  • You will have extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical process plants and related maintenance activities within the wastewater industry.
  • You will bring 10 years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • You will demonstrate a thorough understanding of Health & Safety statutory requirements, responsibilities, and obligations.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary up to €70,000 plus bonus.
  • 23 days of annual leave plus all Bank Holidays.
  • Pension contributions where you can contribute either 5% or 7.5% of your base salary, matched by us.
  • Two paid GP visits per month.
  • Payment for study related to your role.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Electrical or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and instrumentation.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical process plants and related maintenance activities.
  • 10 years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Thorough understanding of Health & Safety statutory requirements.
