Interior Design Manager Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced retail professional to lead our interior design team. As an Interior Design Manager, you will be responsible for coaching and developing a team of designers while maintaining a high level of customer contact and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Team Leadership:
  • Develop business plans with designers to increase market reach and revenue
  • Partner with each associate to manage design projects, customer contacts, and relationships
  • Hold design teams accountable to attain goals

You will also be responsible for implementing change initiatives, driving new business through grassroots marketing initiatives, and reviewing performance metrics with your team leaders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of five years of experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of ten years of progressive relevant work experience and practical interior design experience
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and approach with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to train and coach for design, product knowledge, sales performance, and customer service

This position requires a valid driver's license, except in limited circumstances where an alternate means of transportation can be established.
