Quantity Surveyor Role Overview\

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quantity surveying, with a focus on cost planning and contract administration. They should be proficient in measurement software and have experience working with e-tenders.

Key Responsibilities:\

  • Prepare detailed cost reports and plans.\
  • Develop and maintain accurate tender documentation.\
  • Conduct thorough analysis of tender returns and prepare comprehensive reports.\
  • Administer contracts and negotiate change orders.\
  • Ensure timely payment recommendations and financial cost reporting.\
  • Maintain a high level of technical proficiency and stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements:\
  • \
  • Bachelor's degree in construction economics and management or related field.\
  • Chartered status or progression towards chartership is highly desirable.\
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a similar PQS office role.\
  • Proven track record in public procurement, contract management, and e-tenders administration.\
  • Proficiency in measurement software, such as CostX.\
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to work.
