About the RoleThis key position will be responsible for executing a comprehensive commercial strategy across the island of Ireland. It is an ideal opportunity for experienced leaders who want to make a significant impact on a business' bottom line.
Main Responsibilities:- To develop and implement a Divisional business strategy in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- To utilise business tools such as CRM and Power BI to ensure commercial targets are understood by all team members and that performance against these targets is regularly assessed.
- To design a specification-based sales approach enabling the commercial team to provide clarity of specification to customers.
- To ensure consistent achievement of stretching targets for products across all depots and product categories.
- To secure preferential terms for the commercial team.
- To coach, lead, develop and motivate the team to maximise performance and order values.
- To provide clear direction to the Marketing and Business Development functions.
- To monitor overall performance excellence and identify areas requiring increased support and guidance.
- To ensure Health & Safety receives the required profile across the Commercial department.
- To contribute to and prepare annual financial plans.
- To mitigate risks through consistent implementation and improvement of agreed risk management procedures.
