Fresh Food Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fresh Food Operations Manager to lead our fresh food team in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets.
About the Role:
- Lead and motivate the fresh food team to achieve operational excellence, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive business growth
- Ensure all fresh food products meet the highest quality standards, are beautifully presented, and align with our company's vision
- Oversee ordering, receiving, and managing inventory to optimize stock levels, minimize waste, and maintain efficient operations
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions
About You:
- Previous experience as a Fresh Food Manager, Deli Manager, or similar role in a high-volume retail environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a passion for team development and a track record of success
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices, with a proven ability to manage risk and ensure compliance
- Able to manage stock, costs, and margin while delivering a premium fresh food offering
- A genuine passion for fresh food, innovation, and continuous improvement
