Fresh Food Operations Manager

Main responsibility of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of fresh food departments, delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality products at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Foster a culture that embodies the values of excellence, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the effective management of workload by prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the team to set and achieve sales targets for gross profit margin, net margin, waste, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain control over stocktaking and overheads, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Build strong relationships among team members, promoting open communication and teamwork.
- Conduct regular meetings to discuss relevant updates, results, and action plans with the team.
- Evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback, recognition, and encouragement to drive growth and development.
- Handle customer queries efficiently and professionally, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Manage employee rostering and annual leave to ensure seamless operational continuity.
- Ensure the merchandising and presentation of fresh department meet the highest standards, aligning with store planograms and guidelines.
