Fresh Food Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fresh Food Leader to join our retail team in Cork. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fresh food, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the fresh food team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Ensure all fresh food products meet the highest quality standards, are beautifully presented, and align with company expectations
  • Oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory management to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
  • Develop and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the fresh food department
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Fresh Food Manager, Deli Manager, or similar role in a high-volume retail environment
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on team development and growth
  • Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices
  • Proven ability to manage stock, costs, and margins while delivering a premium fresh food offering
  • A genuine passion for fresh food and a commitment to excellence and innovation
