Accounting Role Overview

The ideal candidate for this accounting position will have a strong background in financial record-keeping, with excellent knowledge of accounting software and a keen eye for detail.

  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash
  • Prepare and submit RCT returns
  • Assist with VAT returns and Revenue compliance
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
  • Manage subcontractor payments and ensure accurate record keeping
  • Support payroll processing and year-end preparation
  • Generate periodic financial reports for management review

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar bookkeeping role
  • A relevant accounting qualification is advantageous
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
