About this Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure and Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, implementing, and documenting key infrastructure and security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will drive efforts to improve the overall security posture of the organization.
  • You will install, patch, maintain hardware and software for Windows and Linux Server Infrastructure.
  • The successful candidate will implement and audit the Global IT Security Strategy for the company.
  • Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining core networking equipment – Cisco Switches, Routers, Firewalls.
  • You will create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Analyze security systems and seek improvements on a continuous basis.
  • Contribute to security projects from inception through to completion.
  • Participate in incident responses and on-call rotation as necessary.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in security tools is required.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS hardening is essential.
  • Understanding of common application and network protocols, cryptographic technologies, and authentication and authorization protocols is necessary.
  • Good to have: Industry Certified Professional Qualifications, familiarity with ISO27001 and/or GDPR, experience working with NESSUS and/or Quays, experience working with F5 load balancer.
