Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

  • Perform regular cleaning and upkeep tasks, including sweeping, dusting, and other duties as required.
  • Handle light repairs and maintenance tasks, using your problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct basic landscaping and garden maintenance tasks, ensuring our outdoor spaces look their best.
  • Add the finishing touches to our facilities, painting, patching, and perfecting walls, sidewalks, and more.
  • Tackle minor carpentry projects and equipment fixes, utilizing your tool proficiency to complete tasks effectively.
  • Support our expert technicians by assisting with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs, providing a helping hand when needed.
  • Be prepared to jump in and handle emergency tasks, such as snow shovelling, to ensure our facilities remain safe and operational.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, where you have developed a strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Basic tool proficiency and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • A problem-solving mindset, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to work effectively with colleagues and management.
