Job Title:
Business Development Executive

About the Role:
National Vehicle Distribution is a leading provider of finished vehicle logistics solutions. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team in Ireland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contacts within the auto-motive sector, pursuing formal and informal business development and sales opportunities, and directly supporting the Head of Business Development with strategic and operational work.

Main Responsibilities:
· Prepare formal tenders;
· Assist with informal and formal sales processes;
· Maintain and manage a database / calendar of tender opportunities;
· Develop market intelligence with respect to potential OEM customers;
· Support the Head of Department with formal and informal sales and business development processes;
· Act as Account Manager for assigned OEM / Importer / Distributor customers;
· Develop an excellent working knowledge of the Finished Vehicle Logistics industry;
· Work with the Head of Department to develop a marketing programme to support the strategic sales effort;
· Manage external marketing and PR agencies as may be required;
· Ensure the company website and online presence is well developed and actively supports the company strategy;

Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in business or marketing;
· Full driver's license;
· At least three years of relevant sales experience;
· Logical, linear thinker;
· Experience of project management or similar discipline would be advantageous;
· Able to close a sale;
· High Emotional Intelligence Quotient;
· Demonstrable Career Progress;
· Creativity and marketing flair;
· Comfortable with working across both sales and marketing disciplines;
· Analytical;
