Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of wind turbines across various locations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing on-site performance analysis and implementing action plans to improve turbine availability.
  • Collaborating with technicians and back office staff to provide on-the-job training and support.
  • Supporting single turbine improvements and software/hardware updates as needed.
  • Providing online and phone-based technical support.
  • Creating reports on turbine or component performance.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in the mechanical/electrical industry and possess knowledge of reading electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagrams. A time-served or technical college qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3) is also required. Additionally, we seek someone who can identify and define problems, extract crucial information from technical data, and develop workable solutions. Strong communication skills and computer literacy, particularly in MS Office, are essential.

This role involves working at heights up to 100m. Candidates must be physically fit and pass a working at height test. Regular travel, including nights away from home, is also a requirement. A full UK/EU driving license is necessary for this position.
