Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure

We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Infrastructure team. As a key member of the team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and building large-scale data-related infrastructure initiatives.



The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience in the data space using Python and SQL. You'll be well-versed in building and running data pipelines for complex datasets, including handling dependencies.



You'll also possess hands-on cloud provider experience, preferably with AWS, including service integrations and automation via CLI and APIs. Strong understanding of data security practices and passion for privacy are essential.



In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tooling and infrastructure that support business needs. Your work will have a significant impact on both technology and teams.

Evolving the Data Platform is a key area of focus. You'll design and build the next generation of the stack, developing, running, and supporting batch and real-time data pipelines. This will involve working with tools like Airflow, PlanetScale, Kinesis, Snowflake, Tableau, all within the AWS ecosystem.

  • Evolving the Data Platform by designing and building the next generation of the stack.
  • Developing, running, and supporting batch and real-time data pipelines using tools like Airflow, PlanetScale, Kinesis, Snowflake, Tableau, all in AWS.
  • Collaborating with product managers, data engineers, analysts, and data scientists to develop tooling and infrastructure to support their needs.
  • Developing automation and tooling to support the creation and discovery of high-quality analytics data in an environment where dozens of changes can be shipped daily.
  • Implementing systems to monitor our infrastructure, detect, and surface data quality issues.
