Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal R&D Engineer to lead our research and development efforts in the field of medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cutting-edge medical devices
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve product performance
  • Collaborate with physicians and engineers to translate insights into robust product requirements
  • Drive technical innovation and mitigate technical risks throughout the development lifecycle
  • Progress projects from early-stage research through to commercial launch
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Level 8 Engineering degree (in biomedical or mechanical engineering or equivalent)
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 5+ years of experience
  • Proven expertise in mechanical engineering fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage and reduce technical risk
  • Experience in medical device product development, including catheter-based technology preferred but not essential
