Senior Purchasing Role

Our client is a leading provider of advanced technology solutions within the entertainment industry.

They specialize in offering a wide range of innovative products, including lottery terminals and associated equipment. With a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer support and high-quality engineering services, they collaborate with both local and international partners to enhance operational efficiency and system performance.

They are now seeking to hire a Senior Buyer to join their Supply Chain Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • International Sourcing, Purchasing, Logistics and Expediting.
  • Determine requirements and take responsibility for the procurement of materials in approved quantities.
  • Maintain necessary records to reflect current open order status and expedite orders to ensure timely vendor delivery.
  • Manage tight and changing timelines.
  • Assist as necessary with Costings for new international terminal bids.
  • Assist with calculating last time buy quantities for parts approaching End of Life.
  • Fulfilment of Sample and Demo Hardware Requirements
  • Transacting of RMAs in Oracle
  • Ad hoc urgent shipment outside of Oracle.
  • File and retain Proof of Delivery for all shipments of terminals

Requirements:

  • Previous Purchasing or Buyer experience
  • Strong systems experience, preferably Oracle
  • Proficient in computer packages and technical applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
