Senior Buyer Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Buyer to join our Supply Chain Team.

  • Purchasing: Identify, select, and manage suppliers for materials and services.
  • Logistics and Expediting: Ensure timely vendor delivery by coordinating transportation and storage.
  • Procurement: Determine requirements and take responsibility for the acquisition of materials.
  • Maintain records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of current open orders and expedited deliveries.
  • Tight Timelines: Effectively manage tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Costings and Bid Analysis: Assist in calculating costs for new terminal bids and last time buy quantities.
  • Sample and Demo Hardware: Fulfilment of sample and demo hardware requirements.
  • RMA Processing and Shipment: Transact RMAs in Oracle and arrange urgent shipments outside of Oracle.
  • Proof of Delivery: Maintain and retain proof of delivery documentation for all shipments.
Requirements:

To be successful as a Senior Buyer, you will need:

  • Prior experience in purchasing or buyer roles.
  • Strong systems skills, preferably with Oracle.
  • Proficiency in computer packages and technical applications.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
