Support Worker
">This role presents a valuable opportunity to contribute to the development of young people in care. Located in Kildare, our service provides a supportive environment that allows individuals to reach their full potential.
The key aspects of this position include:
• Supporting the day-to-day activities of the young person and all associated tasks.
• Building positive relationships with both the young people and staff within the service to ensure a smooth operation.
• Assisting young people in developing essential skills, enhancing self-esteem, resilience and individual responsibility.
• Accompanying the young person to appointments and other engagements as required.
• Contributing to the upkeep of the residential service and carrying out other tasks assigned by your manager.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
• A minimum QQI Level 7 qualification in Social Care and have started the registration process with CORU.
• At least one year's experience working with young people and children in care.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.">
