Urban Planning Specialist Job OpportunityAbout the Role:The Fehily-Timoney Company Limited is seeking an experienced Urban Planning Specialist to join their planning team in Dublin, Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the coordination and delivery of projects, including preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals, and reviewing submissions related to Development Plans and Local Area Plans.Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the coordination and delivery of projects, ensuring timely completion and effective collaboration with internal teams and external consultants.
  • Prepare and submit high-quality planning applications, appeals, and review submissions related to Development Plans and Local Area Plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional outcomes, providing informed recommendations and expert advice.
  • Evaluate planning policies and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
  • Hold a recognized planning qualification (IPI or RTPI accredited).
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Solid understanding of the Irish planning system and key environmental considerations.
  • Experience in offering planning-related advice and knowledge of planning, development, and environmental issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
