Night Shift Operations Lead

As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy depot in South East Ireland.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Organise and consolidate freight for despatch on linehaul vehicles nightly
  • Ensure all freight from night sort is correctly staged in courier bays
  • Pass on daily debriefs to morning shift staff
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
  • E nsure the depot meets its key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Liaise with other shift supervisors to document and resolve any issues
  • Maintain warehouse and working areas in a clean and orderly fashion
  • Ensure safe and efficient handling of customer goods/freight
  • Minimise misroutes by ensuring accurate sorting and organisation of freight
  • Accurately scan all freight to ensure depot efficiency
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team

Requirements:

  • A commercially acceptable level of English (spoken and written)
  • Proficient computer skills (Excel, email, reporting platforms, CRM systems)
  • Previous supervisory experience (three years or more)
  • Safety awareness
  • Knowledge of Irish geography and specific depot coverage areas
  • Previous experience in the logistics industry
