We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as a Day Service Facilitator. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities, empowering them to lead active and fulfilling lives.

As a Day Service Facilitator, you will play a key role in delivering and enhancing meaningful, person-centered, and community-based services that promote the active citizenship of those we support.

The successful candidate will have a relevant third-level qualification in social care, education, community development, training, or a related field, along with a minimum three years' experience supporting adults with an intellectual disability or similar field.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • A relevant third-level qualification in social care, education, community development, training, etc.
  • Minimum three years' experience of supporting adults with an intellectual disability or similar field
  • Experience in person-centered planning, capacity building, social inclusion, positive behavior supports, community development, advocacy, and empowerment

In addition to these essential requirements, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and be flexible.

The successful applicant will also have a full clean driving license and use of their own vehicle.
