Job Description

This is a pivotal role within the Engineering and Information Technology division.

We are seeking a highly skilled computational advertising domain expert who can effectively bridge academic research with industrial practice.

About the Role

As a key contributor, you will work on cutting-edge projects utilizing advanced technologies to drive growth and expansion in the Ads business globally.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and develop innovative algorithms tailored to specific scenes and business applications, including pCTR/pCVR optimization, inventory allocation, and AI-assisted ads content optimization.
  • Identify ways to improve ad data/product reliability, efficiency, and quality.
  • Engage regular A/B tests and statistical analysis to evaluate the impact of proposed models.
  • Monitor, analyze, and tune performance metrics for targeted ad application domains.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to inform product strategy and R&D decisions.
Requirements
  • Master's/PhD degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics and Physics).
  • 4+ years of experience delivering machine learning products, preferably with knowledge in recommender systems, reinforcement learning, and data governance.
  • Solid understanding of Python and TensorFlow in developing machine learning models.
  • Strong analytical skills working with structured/unstructured datasets.
  • Experience with SQL or HIVE SQL, understanding Hive/MySQL principles and tuning strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • In-depth understanding of data analytics or data science with rich experience in advertising-related data or computational advertising.
