Clinical Research Assistant Role available in a medical devices company located in Galway City.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about clinical research and wants to gain work experience in this field.

Main Responsibilities:

  • General administration tasks such as printing, ordering and compiling documents will be handled.
  • Preparation of pre-clinical and clinical documents will be assisted.
  • Maintenance of quality management records will be supported.
  • Pre-clinical activities will be coordinated.
  • Pre-clinical consumables and equipment will be ordered.
  • Verification & validation studies will be assisted.
  • Clinical investigation products inventory logs will be kept.
  • Commercial data logs will be maintained.
  • Clinical documentation supplies will be stocked.
  • Database searches like MAUDE and literature reviews will be assisted.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Third-level diploma or degree.
  • Proficient in MS Office and related software.
  • Experience in general office administration/assistant roles.
  • Skilled in office software tools.
  • Medical device industry experience is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of regulated industries is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Able to work effectively in a small team.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently.
