Financial Controller Assistant

This is a contract position available for 6-9 months.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare weekly site profit and loss reports and ensure timely delivery to stakeholders.
- Analyse weekly distribution costs, identifying key drivers of variance against budget and forecast.
- Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments for overhead expenses.
- Ensure accurate and complete stock valuation on the balance sheet for all locations.
- Coordinate and manage quarterly stock count audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Minimum two years experience in a similar role, ideally within the fast-moving consumer goods industry.
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is desirable.
- Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
- Experience with accruals, prepayments, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

- Familiarity with budgeting software.
